Spiral was inspired by the recurring geometry I see in nature. The spiral appears in galaxies, ocean shells, wind patterns, and unfolding plants. It represents growth that is not linear, but layered and continuous.
As I shaped this piece, I focused on movement without losing center. A spiral expands outward while remaining rooted at its core. That idea resonates deeply with my own creative journey. Each layer builds upon the last, evolving while staying connected to its origin.
The process is slow and intentional. Through repetitive knotting and careful shaping, I guide the fibers into a curved structure that feels fluid yet grounded. The tension within the material creates strength, while the form expresses softness and flow.
