Inspired by the serene beauty of Crescent Bay Beach, this reversible macrame tapestry captures the essence of the sea and horizon in a minimalist, abstract form.
I create sculptural fiber works by reimagining traditional macramé and textile techniques in a contemporary way. Working with natural and recycled fibers like cotton, I let the raw qualities of the material guide each piece. My process is slow and intentional—built through repetitive knotting and weaving, where control and spontaneity meet. Inspired by organic patterns in nature and the quiet strength of minimalism, my work transforms humble fibers into tactile wall sculptures that invite reflection, warmth, and connection.
Crescent Bay is part of my exploration of translating natural landscapes into sculptural fiber forms, where organic movement and traditional knotting techniques merge to create tactile contemporary compositions.
